Free CCSE practice test: a whole paper, 25 questions in the real proportions

Not a random selection. Ten from tarea 1, three from tarea 2, two from tarea 3, three from tarea 4 and seven from tarea 5, which is exactly what the real sitting draws, so a score out of 25 here means what a score out of 25 there would mean.

How to sit this one

Give yourself 45 minutes, which is the maximum the Instituto Cervantes allows, and do not open the answers until the end. Fifteen correct out of twenty-five is a pass, the same threshold as the real paper, and every question here is worth the same as every other, which is what article 6.3 of the Reglamento says about the real one too.

The questions are in Spanish, as the exam is sat, with an English translation underneath. The translation is a study aid. On the day there will not be one.

Tarea 2's questions are verdadero o falso and have two options. The rest offer three. That is the real paper's shape and it is why this run is not twenty-five questions of one kind.

Where these come from, and what they are not

Written by Belong Spain from the contents of the official Manual de preparación de la prueba CCSE, grouped under the manual's own five tareas. They are not the Instituto Cervantes' questions and they can contain mistakes. The real paper draws its 25 from the manual, which you can download for free, and that manual is the thing to study.

That was twenty-five. There are 425 more.

450questions, drilled tarea by tarea in the order the Instituto Cervantes’ manual sets them, with a mistakes deck, spaced repetition and a mock in the real paper’s shape: 25 questions in 45 minutes, and a real apto or no apto, because all twenty-five come from one published manual.

Written by Belong Spain from the contents of the official manual. They are not the Instituto Cervantes’ questions, and the real sitting uses its own.
