Belong Spain helps you track your journey from residence to Spanish nationality.
Belong Spain tracks how far you are from Spanish nationality. It is honest about the part you control and the part you do not. Below is what each tab does.
Choose the classic Midnight dark look or the new Mediterranean light theme with a warm coral accent. Switch any time from the You tab. Everything else stays exactly the same.
The Dashboard splits the journey into the part you control and the part you do not. The bar shows how close you are, and below it Belong Spain lists the routes open to you: the general ten year route, the two year Ibero-American route, the five year refugee route and the one year spouse route, each carrying its own status. Spain decides nationality administratively through the DGSJFP, so your route reaches a real finish line.
What if sits on the Dashboard and answers that without touching your file. Flip the DELE or the CCSE to passed, add a marriage to a Spanish citizen, spend six months abroad, and watch your finish line move under the real Spanish rules. It runs on a copy of your situation, so nothing you try is saved and nothing you entered changes.
Path opens your route and lays out every requirement in order. A green tick is met and a blue dot is in progress: legal continuous residence, Spanish at A2 with the DELE and its exemptions, the CCSE test and good civic conduct. Each item explains the rule in plain language and links to the official source, the Ministerio de la Presidencia, Justicia y Relaciones con las Cortes or the Instituto Cervantes. The CCSE facts sit here too, and the full Practice tab is one tap away.
Standing watches the moving ground, your time abroad and your record. Spanish law sets no fixed day count, courts judge continuity on effective residence, so Belong Spain measures your longest stay abroad against the three month guidance line and tells you honestly when a trip could put your continuity in question. Your record sits here too with a plain read on good civic conduct.
Practice trains you for the CCSE, the real nationality knowledge test. Full mock tests in the official shape, 25 questions and 15 to pass, quick rounds, chapter drills across government and law, history, society and culture, and a mistakes deck that re-asks what you got wrong. In Spanish, like the real test, with an English study toggle — and the official Instituto Cervantes material one tap away.
News is getting a partner. A collaboration with The Local Spain is in the works: the immigration and citizenship news that actually affects your path, filtered to Spain, in plain language and delivered inside the app. Until it lands, the News tab says exactly that — and nothing pretends to be live before it is.
You is where every number comes from. Set the month you became resident and a short list of honest toggles: permanent residence, marriage to a Spanish citizen, your citizenship background, the DELE and the CCSE. Change one and the Dashboard updates right away. Your language choice lives here too, English or Español with one tap, and so does the legal disclaimer, because Belong Spain tracks the rules but does not give legal advice.
A Belong Spain account arrives in Q3 2026, together with the web app: sign in with your email and use the same subscription in any browser. On your iPhone the tracker stays on your device. What you enter on the web will be stored on our servers, so it is waiting at your next sign-in.
